💧 Why Jal and Bel-Patra Are Mahadev's Most Sacred Offering?
During the cosmic Samudra Manthan, when the deadly Halahala poison emerged, Lord Shiva drank it to protect creation. As the poison burned within Him, the Devas continuously offered cooling Jal, while Belpatra, the leaf most beloved to Shiva and deeply associated with Maa Parvati, was placed upon Him to soothe His divine form.
